Every year around the globe, 500,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and over 250,000 women die from the disease—which means that nearly 700 women die needlessly each day. Education and access to affordable cervical cancer prevention programs can prevent this disease.

I am committed to ending cervical cancer by:

  1. Taking care of myself first and getting screened for cervical cancer.
  2. Discussing with my family, my friends and my network of colleagues what each of them can do to prevent cervical cancer among themselves and their daughters through screening and vaccination.
  3. Informing others through newsletters, websites, media contacts and other communication opportunities about cervical cancer and the way to end this cancer now for future generations.
