Toolkit

English | Español | Français | Deutsch | Chinese

Enclosed in this toolkit are comprehensive materials designed to help you spread the word - to women, government officials, the media and others - that we can end cervical cancer worldwide. Following is a brief overview of each piece and how it can be used:

Key Messages - These are for your use only and are designed to help you communicate about this issue in an effective and consistent manner. All of your communications - both verbal and in writing - should incorporate these messages.

HPV and Cervical Cancer Frequently Asked Questions - This background document answers questions that you will most likely receive regarding the issue, and can be shared with others as well.

Sample Press Release - You can tailor this with statistics and other pertinent information related to your country, and then send this via e-mail, fax or postal service to your local and national media. (We suggest you target each publication's or station's health, policy and news editors/producers.) Statistics specific to your country can be found on the World Health Organization's Web site at www.who.int/hpvcentre.

Sample Newsletter Article - Submit this to your company, agency, community group or other organization for possible publication.

Sample Op-Ed - You can tailor this with statistics and other pertinent information related to your country and then submit it to your local and/or national newspaper's editorial page editor. This should be submitted to each media outlet individually. Begin with your top choice and, if it is not accepted for publication, proceed to your next choice.

Sample Radio Public Service Announcements - Submit these scripts to your local radio stations and offer to record them for broadcast. 30 second announcement | 60 second announcement

Brochure PDF - Share electronic or hard-copy printouts of this with other women, government officials, the media or others who are interested in joining you in this cause.
